The Mosaic Manicure
Inspiration: Mosaic textures. They are very interesting & beautiful as textures & looks even more fascinating when done in jewel colors. Endless patterns could me made & each time it would come out as unique as the last & not to mention even easier since it's abstract. Mosaic Manicure is achieved with any fore highly pigmented metallic/shimmer Nail Polish colors & Nail Art Enamel to outline.
It's best to use a clear base coat for this look as it helps to hold the colors together. This Nail Art can be achieved fairly fast. All you need to do is very randomly use for different colors to cover you nail entirely. The trick with this design is to start with one color, finish using it on all the nails, placing the colors anywhere. Then move on to the next color following the same procedure. By the time you reach the last color make sure you fill up whatever empty space is left on your nail. Then once all the colors on you nails are dry, go ahead & out line them with either black or white to get the best effect, since both these colors would help make the metallic colors stand out. Then follow through with a top coat. This one takes about 30 mins to be done & lasts for almost 2 weeks. You can make it last longer if you touch up the outline. Let me know if you try it & here's the product list & procedure.
Product list & Procedure:
The Base: Lakme Fast & Fabulous 07 (this is the only non metallic shade)
Lakme Fast & Fabulous 06 (this shade is extremely sheer so layer this)
Avon Nail Wear Pro Nail Enamel Blue Shock (2 coat enough)
Avon Nail Wear Pro Nail Enamel Vivid Violet (2 coat enough)
The outline: Inglot Nail Art Enamel 29 (white, Just follow the boundary of each color to outline, they would be uneven & that's what makes this pattern beautiful)
Top Coat: Maybelline Colorama Brillo (make sure all your colors are dry before you proceed to apply the top coat)
I would really appriciate feedback & comments so please go ahead & let me know what you think of my posts. Thank you for going through my posts. :)
